Courtney is entering her thirteenth year as Office Manager and Paralegal at Paula Lock Smyth Law Offices.

Born and raised in the Dallas area, Courtney has been immersed in the legal and family law community since the age of six. Her lifelong exposure to the industry, combined with a strong background in client service and strategy development, has shaped her into a dedicated and compassionate asset for Paula’s clients.

In her role, Courtney brings a detail-oriented, client-focused approach to every matter. She works closely with Paula across a wide range of family law cases, applying both creative and analytical problem-solving skills to help navigate the complexities of each client’s unique circumstances. Her ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds allows her to communicate effectively and ensure that clients feel heard, informed, and supported throughout the legal process.

Courtney’s longstanding passion for the law and commitment to helping families through difficult transitions are at the heart of her work. She understands that family law matters can be among the most challenging experiences a person faces, and she strives to provide each client with the compassion, professionalism, and personalized attention they deserve.

Outside of the office, Courtney enjoys spending time with her children, fiancé, and extended family. She loves discovering new restaurants, attending concerts and sporting events, and exploring with her dog, Lola.
